CeliacDetect is a rapid home-use immunochromatographic test that detects the presence of IgA-type anti-tissue transglutaminase (anti-tTG) antibodies in blood samples.
The kit consists of an automatic lancet that allows you to easily take the blood sample from a finger, a tube with dilution solution and a test cassette on which the blood sample is added to obtain the result in 10 minutes.
If the sample contains IgA anti-tTG antibodies, a red line will appear (positive result), which indicates the possibility of suffering from celiac disease. The absence of this line (negative result) confirms that the blood sample does not contain anti-tTG antibodies within the detection limits of the kit and, therefore, the possible absence of celiac disease. Additionally, a control line will appear indicating that the test has worked correctly.
