EGCG is a natural flavonol present in green tea with antioxidant properties that was found to act as an inhibitor of the DYRK1A protein, overexpressed in people with Down syndrome.

Ingredients:

Decaffeinated green tea extract (Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, maltodextrin, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, stabilizer: magnesium salts of fatty acids, colorants (chlorophyll and chlorophyllin copper complex).

Preparation:

3 capsules a day with meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Do not consume on an empty stomach.

The currently available studies have been conducted in young adults aged 16 to 34 years. However, the preliminary results of the PERSEUS study show that the continued administration of FontUp® is safe in the pediatric population since no differences in adverse effects have been observed in the FontUp® group than in the placebo group. In any case, until the efficacy results in children are published, it is not possible to recommend its general use in children under 16 years of age.

According to the TESDAD study, the effects of EGCG can be observed from the first month of treatment as long as they are accompanied by cognitive stimulation, so you must be patient and rigorous in taking it for a minimum of one month.
It is not a permanent cognitive improvement, but the effects are observed while the treatment is continued. In fact, evidence indicates that the longer it is maintained, the greater the consolidation of its positive effects on cognitive ability.

There is no interaction between food and the EGCG in the capsules so it can be opened and taken mixed in yogurt, in a smoothie or whatever you like. It should be taken into account that green tea is very bitter, so the contents of the capsules will be bitter in the same way.
