LIZIPAINA® lozenges
Lizipaina composition in lozenges
5 mg lysozyme, papain 2 mg, 3 mg Bacitracin
Excipients: saccharin, sorbitol, mint oil, magnesium stearate, cs
Lizipaina INDICATIONS: Symptomatic relief of mild affections of the throat and mouth, sore throats, small gum minor injuries such as those caused by dentures, hoarseness and voice loss.
Lizipaina Contraindications Children under 3 years (presence of peppermint). Sensitivity or allergy to any of its components.
Lizipaina PRECAUTIONS: Do not administer to children under 6 years, without consulting a doctor. If symptoms persist longer than 2 days, or worsen, or are accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea or vomiting, consult a doctor as soon as possible.
INTERACTIONS: Avoid concurrent use with other oropharyngeal antiseptics. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medications.
Lizipaina WARNINGS: Warning on excipients: This medicine contains 1.4 g of sorbitol as an excipient for tablet. It can cause stomach upset and diarrhea. Not for use in patients with hereditary fructose intolerance.

If you are pregnant or might be pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Drug use during pregnancy can be dangerous for the embryo or fetus and should be monitored by your doctor.

Dosage: Adults: 1 tablet dissolved in the mouth every two hours, up to 6-8 tablets a day.
Children 6 to 15 years: Maximum dose of 3-4 tablets per day.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CORRECT ADMINISTRATION OF THE PREPARATION:
Do not chew or swallow whole. Leave slowly undo the tablet in the mouth.
Overdose If overdose or accidental ingestion of large doses may cause digestive discomfort. Seek medical center stating the product and the amount ingested, or consult the Toxicology Information Service, telephone (91) 562 04 20.
Adverse Reactions: Rarely, allergic reactions. If you notice any side effects not listed above consult your doctor or pharmacist.
STORAGE: Store in cool, dry place, closing out the tube.
EXPIRY This medicine should not be used after the expiration date printed on the package.
