1. What VEROLAX and what it is used
Glycerol, the active ingredient of this medication is a laxative, which is administered rectally. The laxative effect is achieved by the ability of glycerol to soften the stool next to a slight local irritant action, gets stimulate bowel movements.
It is indicated for local symptomatic relief of transient and occasional constipation for adults and adolescents from 12 years.

VEROLAX is in the form of rectal light brown solution. The drug is packaged in a dose container bellows 7.5 ml, provided with a plastic cannula and a closure cap. These are packaged in a box containing 6-dose containers.
