Saciabes is a food supplement based on glucomannan, pineapple and L-phenylalanine, accompanied magnesium, vitamin B6 and chromium.

Glucomannan is a polysaccharide (complex carbohydrate) indigestible extracted from the tubercle of an Asian plant called Amorphophallus konjac.
Glucomannan can absorb over 100 times its volume in water to form a thick gel. Ingested along with plenty of fluids has a satiating effect that reduces the sense of "empty stomach" and therefore the appetite or the need to eat.
It also increases the volume of stool and gets regulate bowel function and prevent constipation by acting as a mild laxative.
